Why does SingleCare require a payment method in order to have a visit?

When you have your appointment, you'll be paying through SingleCare rather than paying your doctor directly. Once you've had your visit, we'll bill your account for the discounted cost of the appointment, and then reimburse your doctor directly.
Upon checkout, you will be e-mailed a receipt, which will list each service that your provider administered during your visit. If you would prefer to register without providing a credit card; you can still use your SingleCare card to obtain savings on your prescriptions at most pharmacies.
